Summer Packages –
Fly Fishing
Fly Fishing On the
Beatty Saugeen
(south of Durham,
Ontario)
The
best time to catch a few
Brookies, Specs and browns
will be early in the
season and early in the
evening when there’s a
hatch happening. There is
also a good population of
rainbows here on the
Beatty Saugeen. This part
of the stream is a
sanctuary until June 1st
so that’s opening
day instead of the normal
last Saturday in April.
The
fish tend to be pan sized
although at the cabin
there is a brown in the 5
pound class mounted on the
wall. The quantity will
depend on the weather and
of course the fisherman
but there is no denying
that a day wading the
stream in the open field
and cedar bush can be it’s
own reward under the
watchful eye of deer,
turkey and a abundance of
water fowl.
Salmon Fishing
Enjoy
a half day (4 hrs)
trolling with down riggers
for Salmon and beautiful
silver rainbow trout in
the clear waters of
Southern Georgian Bay. You
will have the assistance
of an experienced
fisherman and the captain
of the boat. But the fish
you catch are yours. They
will be cleaned and packed
for your dinning pleasure.
Price $450.00 plus GST.
Maximum 6
