The Raven Golf Club at Lora Bay, located just minutes west of Thornbury, Ontario marks the first Raven Golf club in Canada and the sixth throughout North America. The 7,200 yard championship layout, co-designed by PGA Tour professional Tom Lehman and Canada’s premier golf course architect Thomas McBroom, promises an unforgettable golf experience that has become synonymous with Raven Golf Clubs. What makes this course unique are the purposefully preserved elements that pay tribute to historic rural Ontario.  As you play through an apple orchard and beside century old barns you will be inspired to strike crisp golf shots on the way to your career low score.

The Raven Golf Club at Lora Bay compliments Blue Mountain Resort, located 20 minutes from the course. Blue Mountain is a multi-season resort complete with a new pedestrian village, seven-acre private beach, the nationally ranked Monterra Golf Course and world class alpine skiing and riding.  The other six Raven Golf Clubs are located in Phoenix, Ariz.; Destin, Fla.; Silverthorne, Colo.; Snowshoe, W. At the Raven Golf Academy, we want to help you enjoy the great game of golf.  Our programs are designed to help you personalize the program that is going to help you become successful.  Whether you are a Beginning Golfer, a Touring Golf Professional, or somewhere in between, The Raven Golf Academy will design a program based on your needs and wants. Our goal is to help you understand the swing in the simplest terms, and to learn how you can correct yourself ongoing. You will learn to understand the causes and effects of your personal swing; we will help you learn the best swing based on your physical ability. With the beginning of the season approaching, it is important to offer members and guests a chance to begin the year with a new outlook on the game of golf!  The Raven Golf Academy is offering a comprehensive 3 day golf school.  Beginning with setting individual goals for the week and the year of golf, it will be our responsibility to provide an entertaining and informative theater for all of our students to enjoy.  This program will be useful in many ways to students of all abilities. Students will enjoy a comprehensive look at their golf game.  We look forward to offering a well priced service to members and guests who wish to not only improve their scores, but enjoy a better understanding of the game of golf.  The 15 hours of instruction involved with these golf-schools will allow golfers of all levels a look at their true potential.
